Purpose

Melissa spends her days, like many women, wearing many different hats! She pastors at a local church and is passionate about creativity, reaching her community, marriage, and motherhood. She and her husband Tim, their three kids, and their lovable lab Watson live outside Vancouver, BC. 

Pursuit

Melissa is all about Jesus + Community, from creating the Dear Sisters community to publishing an online and print magazine to coaching women to pursue healthy mindsets to reach their goals.

Passion

With a deep love for Jesus and the church, Melissa desires to see women step into their calling in all areas of their lives!

Women and men are called to lead and play a part in the story that God is telling, and Melissa is passionate about helping people understand and pursue their story in the kingdom. 

Personal Dedication

Over the last 20 years, Melissa has developed the skills needed in relational development, marketing, and management. She has worked in senior leadership for non-profit and for-profit sectors for the last ten years.

As a talent manager and developer, Melissa honed her leadership acumen to train and build up teams. In 2016 she stepped into the role of Pastor and continues to serve the local church. In 2022 Melissa completed training with Propel Ecclesia and is in the middle of completing her Masters of Divinity.
